Congratulations to the B-E November Students of the Month!
Middle School: Eli Jeppeson and Ellie Olsen
High School: Josephine Walberg and EmmaLee Brethorst
The November students of the month were asked a few questions about themselves. Here is what they had to say!
Eli Jepperson
Who would you consider a hero of yours and why?
My grandfather, because he served in the army.
Ellie Olsen
What do you hope to be when you grow up?
I hope to have my own business because I don't like rules.
Josephine Walberg
What should people do to make this world a better place?
Personally I feel everyone could be more kind. Treating everyone as equals is probably the best way to make the world a better place.
EmmaLee Brethorst
How has going to B-E made you a better person?
B-E is a small school district where teachers and administration care about us. This is a good example of how we should treat others outside of school.

The B-E staff & students are thankful for all the donations provided for turkey BINGO! The K-12 students had the best time and loved the prizes.

The 6th grade students got to take a tour of the Evansville Meat locker to finish off their cuts of beef unit in Ag.

8th Grade Ag class learning how to extract DNA from a strawberry.
DID YOU KNOW? Strawberries are the perfect choice for a DNA extraction lab for two very good reasons: (1) they yield way more DNA than other fruits, and (2) they are octoploid, meaning that they have eight copies of each type of DNA chromosome. (Human cells are generally diploid, meaning two sets of chromosomes.) These special circumstances make strawberry DNA both easy to extract and to see.

Thank you to all members of our military in all branches past and present living and dead. God bless you...and thank you.
