Brandon-Evansville Public School selects Joseph Lamb as next superintendent
Brandon, MN – May 12, 2026- The Brandon-Evansville School Board has selected Joseph Lamb as the district’s next superintendent. Mr. Lamb most recently served as superintendent at Swan River Elementary School District #4 in Big Fork, Montana
“We are excited to welcome JJ Lamb to our district! The board was impressed by his strong leadership, collaborative communication style, and effective superintendent experience. We are confident Mr. Lamb will be a valuable asset to our communities that make up B-E School District” said Board Chair Jana Anderson.
Lamb was selected from a pool of 6 finalists based on criteria established by the school board, as well as input provided by the Brandon-Evansville Public Schools staff. He will begin his role in the district July 1, 2026.

Brandon-Evansville Public School Announces Superintendent Candidates Advancing to Second Interviews
Brandon, MN – May 8, 2026 – The Brandon-Evansville Public School Board is pleased to announce that two finalists for the Superintendent position will be returning for a second round of interviews. The Board has invited the following candidates to continue in the selection process on Tuesday, May 12:
• 5:30 PM – Joseph Lamb, former Superintendent, Swan River Elementary School District #4, Big Fork, Montana
• 6:45 PM – Chad Christianson, 7-12 Principal, KMS Public Schools, Kerkhoven, MN
“After interviewing six highly qualified candidates, we are confident in our ability to identify the next superintendent for our district. We look forward to our second interviews next week as we continue the process of selecting the individual best suited to support our students, staff, and communities while advancing the vision and goals of our district” said school board chair Jana Anderson.
The second interviews will take place in the District Board Room at BrandonEvansville High School, Brandon MN.
