Our B-E kindergarten students had a special guest author visit today with Casie’s Caps! Students enjoyed listening to two of the three books Vicky has written, sharing a snack, and learning about the fun of reading and storytelling.

The best part? Each student received a book and a one-of-a-kind hat made especially for them! The excitement was contagious as the kids unwrapped their hats and discovered their very own unique creations. Their smiles said it all!

Thank you to Vicky and her husband for sharing your stories, creativity, and time with our youngest Chargers! What a fun and memorable way to celebrate a love of reading!

Mrs. Okerlund's Child Development students had a wonderful opportunity to visit a local family child care facility and see firsthand what caring for and educating young children looks like! Students observed daily routines, explored the learning environment, and connected what we’ve learned in class to real-world experiences. A big thank-you to Jill Mogenson for welcoming our students and helping them learn more about the important work of early childhood education!

Today we would like to recognize all coaches at Brandon-Evansville in honor of National Coaches Day. Thank you for the countless hours, energy, and personal time you give to our student-athletes. Your dedication goes beyond the game by teaching teamwork, modeling selflessness, and helping our students grow as people. Go Bolts & Go Chargers!!

Congratulations to the September Students of the Month for grades 5-12!

Grades 5-8
Wyatt Jaenisch and Leland Eddy

Grades 9-12
Lucas Carlson and Trace Pieschke

What Staff have to say about the students of the month:

Wyatt has wonderful participation in class activities and discussion. His questions are very thoughtful. He brings all of his materials to class. He works well with anyone - whether they are close friends or not. He has made the transition to 5th grade well and I am sure he will continue to thrive!

Leland has had a great start to the year. He is a student that can be partnered with anyone. He communicates well and keeps his group on-task. Leland participates in class, is positive and turns work in on-time.

Lucas is not only a great student but he is a great example of being a good kid. He works hard and when his work is done he'll stop up and talk fishing or help out the kids around him. He is kind to other students and works to include others and make them feel welcome at B-E.

Trace has been a great role model this year and works hard during class. He is kind to others and polite/respectful of teachers and staff. He has made tremendous growth not only as a student but as a person!
