The Cross County Conference Meet was in Eagle Bend yesterday. The top 15 Varsity runners are All-Conference and places 16-20 are Honorable Mention. The following athletes earned accolades tonight:

Congratulations to the B-E Junior High Knowledge Bowl team who not only received 2nd place at the first event for the season, but also had the top score in the written round. Way to start the season strong!
Congratulations to Lauren Thoennes who broke the A-B-E Cross Country girls program record with a time of 20:39.5. This is the second time this season that she's broken the record and she also placed 1st at the Ashby-Brandon-Evansville Invitational at Pine Ridge Golf Course.
The College Intro to Animal Science class, recently had a lab day at the U of M in St. Paul. They did many mini labs including dairy handling, AI, felt inside a cows rumen, judged beef steers, did a physical on a calf, clipped a cow, toured the milking parlor, sheared a sheep, identified horse tack, sheep equipment and feedstuff.

The B-E FFA students participated in the Sporting day event. The students were able to compete in trap shooting or archery with 1 student competing in both events, called the hot shot event. Congratulations to Cole Johnson on placing 2nd overall individually in the hot shot event!
Brandon-Evansville School will be holding a flu clinic at the Brandon School on October 9th if you would like your son/daughter to get a vaccine, scan QR code and fill out the information. Don't forget to bring your insurance card!
