Congratulations to Jeff Anderson for being voted as the 2023-2024 Brandon-Evansville Teacher of the Year and Mike Wagner for Support Staff of the Year! Mr. A was surprised by the 5th graders on our Camp Out field trip last Friday. Mike received the great news from his kids yesterday. We are lucky to have you both!
Congratulations to Ivan Sullivan! He is a top state winner in the Math Masters Fact Drill. He tied with 25 other students out of over 1000 students with a perfect score of 50 out of 50! He is being rewarded with Twins tickets from Math Masters.
Deputy Nicole Swanson of the Alexandria Sheriff's Department and coaches from the Alexandria Mountaineers Mountain Bike Team put on a Bike Safety Day for the 4th graders. They learned about bicycle safety and MN bicycle laws. They then rode their bikes through an instructional obstacle course.
The 5th graders had their Day of Action Monday, May 20th and helped the Evansville Legion set up flags at the Mound Grove Cemetery

Although it didn’t go quite as planned for them, this group of students worked hard getting their E-85 Supermileage car finished, through inspection and on the track. Thank you to the Douglas County Corn & Soybean Growers Assn, Denco II and Glen & Kaye Zebarth for their donation to the project!
