October is College Knowledge Month in Minnesota and to celebrate, the colleges and universities of Minnesota State are waiving their application fees for the entire month.
That's what we call Minnesota State Month!
October is a great time for your senior students to explore one or more of the 26 colleges and seven universities of Minnesota State and apply for FREE. More information is available at: https://MinnState.edu/MinnStateMonth.
In science, 4th graders have been learning about fossils. In this activity we learned about how fossil dinosaur tracks can reveal how quickly a dinosaur ran. Students were figuring out if they could have won a race with a dino that was just their size. They compared the length of their running steps with a dino's steps. We even had a t-rex show up to class to help us with our discovery!

Tonight there will be a Chuck-A-Duck fundraiser after the second set of the Varsity game. Proceeds will go the the Roisum Family. Jennifer Roisum is the Head Volleyball Coach for Battle Lake and her son Bradyn was in a serious ATV accident. The deadline to turn in order forms for the 2023 Homecoming shirts has been extended into today. Orders must be turned in by the end of the school day today!
